About

To all Christian teachers out there who are teaching chemistry courses and are interested in doing integration of faith and learning (IFL) in their classes, this blog is for you.  In this blog I'll be sharing examples of chemistry concepts with their related faith concepts that I actually used in my chemistry classes and that you may want to use also in your classes.  These examples, although helpful in many ways, are not perfect ones.  You may therefore modify them to fit your "audiences."

Included in this blog are the faith concepts you can use in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Biochemistry.  For easy blogging I am presenting the Faith Concepts based on the sequence of Chemistry Concepts in the course outline, starting with General Chemistry.  You can, however, use the Chemistry Concepts tab to direct you to a blog that deals with a specific faith or chemistry concept.

I am hoping that this blog be of help in your teaching ministry.

The first few entries of this blog are from the paper (an essay) I prepared and presented to the 38th International Faith and Learning Seminar with the theme Christianity and Science in Biblical Perspective held at Loma Linda University, Californina, USA last July 2008.

God bless.
